This is especially due to the fact that physicians all over the world regard the DTX-200 DexaCare® as a fast, reliable and cost-effective scanner.

Osteometer MediTech has also launched an ultrasound device, DTU-one UltraSure®, which measures a specific area in the heel. This scanner is a major break-through within the area, as it is the first commercially available imaging ultrasound scanner. This unique feature ensures an effective and reliable assessment of the patient’s risk of developing osteoporotic fracture. This scanner received FDA approval in the fall of 2000.
